How to disconnect a bank account in QuickBooks Online?

Edited

  1. Log in to QuickBooks Online.

  2. Go to the Banking or Transactions > Bank transactions page.

  3. Find the bank account you want to disconnect.

  4. Click the small edit (✏️) icon next to the bank account name.

  5. In the Edit Account window:

    • Check the box that says Disconnect this account on save.

  6. Click Save and Close.

✅ QuickBooks will stop importing transactions from that bank connection, but your existing historical transactions will remain in your books.
