Understanding the Transactions Page in Propio

Edited

🧭 Start by selecting a client

  • At the top of the Transactions page, you’ll find a dropdown menu listing all your connected clients.

  • Select the client’s name from the dropdown.

  • After selecting, Propio will display all bank transactions associated with that client.

🪄 Tip: If you don’t see any transactions, check that you’ve selected the right client, and that their bank accounts are properly connected.

🔍 How transactions appear in Propio

New transactions in Propio can come from two sources:

  • Automatic bank sync:
Transactions pulled directly from the client’s bank account through a previously established connection.

  • Manual import:
Transactions uploaded manually from PDF statements or other sources.

Regardless of how they enter, all new transactions first appear in the "Pending" tab.

🗂️ Tabs on the Transactions Page

  • Pending:
All transactions awaiting validation and categorization.

  • Categorized:
Transactions already categorized and sent to the ledger.
➔ You can recategorize if needed.

  • Excluded:
Transactions intentionally left out of categorization.
➔ You can unexclude them later if necessary.

  • Feedback:
Transactions needing additional information from the client before categorization.
