# View Transaction Audit History

Every change made to a transaction or journal entry is automatically logged in Propio — who made it, when, and what changed. This gives you full visibility for quality control, team oversight, and client accountability.

**Steps**

1. Go to your client's **Transactions** page and find the transaction you want to review
2. Access the audit history: 
     - **For categorized transactions** — click the **three-dot menu (⋮)** on the right side of the transaction, then select **View History**
     - **For posted transactions** — click the **clock icon** on the right side of the transaction
3. Review the **Transaction History** panel, which shows a chronological timeline filtered by **All, User, AI, Bank,** or **System** actions

Each entry shows what changed, the previous and new values, who made the change, and when.

💡 **Tip:** Use the filter tabs — **User, AI, Bank, System** — to quickly isolate the type of change you're looking for. For example, select **AI** to see all category suggestions made by Propio's AI, or **User** to review edits made by your team.
