Use AI Assistant to Manage Messages and Forms

Learn how to use the AI Assistant to interact with messages and automate form filling.

Propio's AI Assistant helps you get quick answers to accounting questions, upload documents, and even auto-fill forms — all from a single chat window. This tutorial walks you through the key use cases so you can work faster.

Steps

1. Introduction

You will learn how to use several use cases for the AI assistant in Propio.

2. Open AI Assistant Chat

Click the Propio chat labeled "Chat Now" in the bottom right to open the AI Assistant conversation window.

3. Activate Message Input Field

Click the message input area labeled "Type a message..." to prepare for entering your question.

4. Enter Accounting Question

Enter your question about accounting differences, such as "What is the difference between cash and accrual accounting," to get an explanation from the AI Assistant. You can ask a broad range of questions, whether it's about Propio or anything else.

5. Select Upload Option

You can also upload files to the AI Assistant and ask it to take actions. In this case we'll ask it to fill out the "Add a Client" form.

6. View Uploaded Info

Once you've uploaded a file and asked it to fill out the page, you'll see the AI get to work and fill out the form on the screen.
